This is Spiggy-sama's experience at Otaktuhon 2007.

Friday Night: Pre-registration

Well, firstly, walking out of the car in the middle of traffic was FUN! A BLAST! I'm not being sarcastic at all. ^_^

So, Spunch, Jasyman, Greg-uke* and I go up the escalators to the second floor. There is a short line up to get the badges, but all is well. Spunch goes first and gets her plastic cover and t-shirt.

I go second. A girl with a sword through her head and pink hair sung Happy Birthday to me, because she was supposed to.

After laughing off the birthday song, I went to get the plastic badge coverings, schedule for the weekend and the night, and advertisements/bookmarks.

There wasn't much too do, but still we had our fun. We went to the fourth floor eating area and sat there. Many various cosplayers walked by, including, Sasuke, Naruto, Zabuza, a MALE Sailor Venus, and other I can't remember. Sailor Venus looked at US funny.

I was wearing my Itachi cloak. Here is some video from inside the convention and some pictures. (1 video, 2 pictures)

"Corner sex" is an inside joke between my friends and I. Mainly, I once went between two vending machines and went "Argh, corner sex!". Then I did that with Close Casual Friend B and Spunka. It's funny. Trust me.

Afterward, it was nearing 8 o'clock and we had to leave soon so we escaped downstairs, me wearing my official Otakuthon shirt. But not before I had a picture taken of me by someone. I wish I knew what they were talking about for the eye contacts. ( T_T )

Then, we all went outside to wait for my mom. I was stuck with two purses (MAN PURSES, because I was Itachi, and he's a MAN!) a bag and Greg-uke* singing.

Greg-uke* went to his grandparents and Spunch, Jasyman and I go home to sleep, for another day of convention.

Saturday, we woke up around 7:44AM, and began getting ready for the day. Ate, dressed, brushed our teeth. We didn't pack our lunches, but Spunch did. She planned ahead.

I got dressed in my costume, complete costume including cloak, pants, shirt, sandals, bandages to protect from blisters caused by said sandals, lines, everything. It's not that hard, very quick and easy.

After my mom returned from picking up Spunka and Greg-uke*, we were off. Spunka gave me a crossed out Konoha hiate (spelling?), and I of course put it on.

Once we arrived, we went to the 4th floor bathroom, since those were the only ones we knew of so that Spunka could get changed into her Temari costume.

During her changing period, one Itachi found another and we took a picture together. (Does not have the picture)

After THAT, two cosplayers, an Ed and someone I remember, but not the name carrying an Everyone is gAY for Bridget sign, came running toward us and gave us some advertisements for an anime shop.

So we went to the artists' area on the seventh floor, and saw the cosplay cafe a bit. There were no line ups then. But, if you went a few hours later, you'd be waiting till the bathrooms almost. XD

Anyways, I got a Axel, Roxas and paopu fruit magnets, and joked around with a french Axel Roxas fan. XD That was aweosme, you know. Finding people with the same fandom. It's not that hard though, considering it was an anime convention.

After getting my magnets, we left. I believe someone took my picture on the way out. I don't really recall..

After that, I kept repeating, the dealers' area was across the street. Only when we got out the map did we find that out. Thank you random guy for the shortcut under ground. We didn't really know about that until then! Thanks again!

I was right, so.. Yeah.. But then we went to it and had to wait in line. Lots of people, lots of booths, it's understandable. It was 3 times the size it was last year at least. Last year, I almost lost Spunch in the crowd. Meet some people in there. XD

Anyways, once in, I automatically bought myself a Gaara stuffie and Final Fantasy Seven: Advent Children messenger bag. I couldn't resist! Then, I bought myself a "Got Yaoi?" t-shirt, a Sephiroth stuffie and a Death Note with L necklace (The irony, my last name starts with L). We left.. Sorta. We sticked around in a stairway, watching the cosplayers go buy.

There was one Naruto cosplayer, whom I glared it. It was funny. I'm sorry whoever it was! I'm supposed to be mean looking! It's not my fault! I scared them into hiding behind their friends. I'm Itachi, I'm mean. Evil laughter time.

Anyways, after that, I went back in. I bought myself an Itachi hat. I kid you not. It was called an Itachi Hat. I got that. And then I saw IT.... Moi dix Mois.. Invite to Immortality LIVE DVD! Sadly, I was short by a bit, but Greg-uke* helped me. Now I couldn't afford any lunch, but who cares! Fandom will feed my soul, that's all I need.

Zelos is from the game Tales of Symphonia. If you don't know it, PLAY IT! It's for Gamecube.. And maybe some other console. I wouldn't know, I played the Gamecub version. ^^;

Second picture: Come on, you don't need me to tell you, do you? Gai-sensei and Rock Lee! NICE GUY POSE! My flash made Gai's eyes all evil looking. >3 Evil Gai-sensei.

Obviously, I shouldn't have to tell you, Naruto. Gawd. The dub SUCKS! I'm going to force the subtitled version down Greg-uke*'s throat. XD

And to the right, is the Lolita combo. 1 box of strawberry pocky, one bag of Japanese candy, and 1 choice of milk tea.

I picked Strawberry milk tea. It was yummy.

Gaara plushie+Sephiroth plushie= Bag smex.

Also remember, yaoi fangirl needs to be placed in the equation somehow. XD

After a yummy pocky, onigiri, candy, strawberry milk tea filled lunch, we went on fourth to watch various shows. We were going to go in the anime mystery dating game, but skipped out on that.

We went to the yaoi room, whcih was just showing yaoi anime, not the yaoi panel, sadly in my opinion, and Spunka and Greg-uke* left after episode two of Gauken Heaven.

As Greg-uke* said, "ELBOW RAPE!" If you like shonen-ai suggestions, watch that show. It sounds naughty a lot, but it isn't. The manga version is. XD

Anyways, it was getting late, so we left. Mainly because we, Spunch, Jasyman and I were likely to get addicted to whatever the next yaoi showing was. So we called Spunka, since she wasn't on the same floor (Like they said they'd be) and went to J-Parody. Greg-uke* and Spunka had pity cakes. They were yummy.

To the left is Greg-uke* with his losing score of -1011199 and downward is an easier view of his score. Anna won. Spunka was in the middle, due to the fact she couldn't keep up with Anna's button pushing skills.

I, Itachi, needed a nap. Jasyman had to show me something smutty she bought in the to picture. The lower picture I was finally getting some shut eye.

The video is of Greg-uke*, though getting the answer right, losing. The host didn't like him. Greg-uke* technically shouldn't have been there, considering his negative amount, even before the Final Jeopardy. XD

Anyways, I, Spiggy, attempted to play. I got 2 out of the 5 questions in Japanese Pop Music. Koda Kumi and Ayumi Hamasaki. I also got Disney right. XD I didn't figure out the Namie Amuro, or Utada Hikaru ones. I was ashamed in myself. ;-;

We had to leave at seven, and my mom was a little upset because we weren't outside. Luckily, I'm a smooth talker. XD I got a new umbrella and some gum. Wrocking. We had hambugers and fries for dinner.

Jasyman and I started our day off by eating Honeycombs. We packed some for lunch at the convention, but we forgot them because there was pocky. And onigiri. Mmm... Onigiri...

So, we went to pick Greg-uke* and Spunka, Spunch sadly had another thing to do and wasn't able to go.

We firstly went to the selling area because my mom wanted an Itachi hat. Weird, I know. I also spotted myself a MYV(Bird)ROCKS dvd. Spunka helped me pay for that, since I was saving money for my lunch. She got me 5 pins. ^_^ Thanks for the presents.

Thus, after purchasing said items, we went to Hiragana class. I received the last sheet with the hiragana symbols, and went "Sweet! I'm not sharing!"

The moderator, whom had the power to kick me out of the convention, let alone the room, went ,"You better share," while tapping his badge. I giggled, yes giggled, and went "I'M SHARING!" after smacking the sheet of paper down on the desk of Spunka.

Spunka, Greg-uke* and I practiced the symbols, and learned some other. I wish I had calligraphy brushes and ink. It can wait though. There was a cosplayer behind Greg-uke* and he didn't notice until Spunka pointed him out. XD

She said, " Yes, I'm going to kill you in your sleep." I went, "Oi, that's my job!" We all laughed and had fun there. There was one hot guy, with a scar that kept checking something out. Tehe.

After that, we stuck around for origami class! You must realize, last year, Spunch and I went to origami class.. And all we got out of it was a cootie catcher. Which I made. XD

So, mainly, it was a new experience for me. Amazingly, I learned to make a crane, which I know by heart almost, a frog, only made one and he can hop, and an iris. The even more awesome part was Spunka, Greg-uke* and Jasmine couldn't make it! XD I have about 5 floating around my room now.

After that, we went to eat lunch. Onigiri and Lolita Combo once more for me. They almost gave me the Lolita Combo twice. I was kind though, and told them I already had it. I wasn't going to cheat them of their money. I may be mean, but I don't cheat people of their money.

So, we took a video of me eating the yellow things and pickled umeboshi (We think). It was nasty. It got stuck on my lip and I had to drink my lemon milk tea, there was no more strawberry milk tea, to get ride of the taste.

After eating, we rushed to play DDR. Spunka and I did a fine job. We met some person who wanted to steal my Gaa-chan! (I named my Gaara plushie that). I lent her my hat. She was nice. Yup, I write like a grade 1 student! Whoot!

Anyways, after that, Greg-uke* played. He failed, even on novice. He's proud though!

After that we went home. I got my presents for my birthday, I forgot to mention that. XD A tablet and speakers. But that's not convention related, so you can ignore that.. Meh.. Pickle.. Tehe.. You're probably still reading this I bet!
